2016: Falsified AmoxiClav Tablets in Cameroon

During a medicines quality survey performed by the DIFAEM-EPN-Minilab-Network in Cameroon, a batch of falsified Augmentin tablets completely lacking their active ingredients have been detected. Amoxicillin combined with clavulanic acid is widely used to treat bacterial infections.
